Qvantum is growing at a rapid pace
Qvantum was founded in Sweden and is now present in large parts of Europe. Our ambition is to grow and increase our presence across the continent and take a leading position in the European heat pump market.

Production capacity
In our Swedish factory in Åstorp, we have a production capacity of about 50,000 heat pumps a year. The factory is in the same building as the head office, which creates a closeness in the organisation that is unusual. When developers want to try out a new idea, they can go directly to the factory and test it, which creates fast-paced development and production.
In Nyíregyháza, Hungary – our high-tech manufacturing facility acquired from the Electrolux Group – we have a production capacity of up to one million heat pumps per year.
This will make us one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of heat pumps.

Our investors
Among the main investors in Qvantum is Thomas von Koch, former CEO and partner at global private equity firm EQT. He is now investing through his private company, together with the IMAS Foundation – a sister foundation of the INGKA Foundation, owner of INGKA Group which operates the majority of IKEA stores worldwide.
More than 30 years of experience
The best way to develop a business is to start with one that is already successful. Qvantum was founded more than 30 years ago.
Qvantum Energy was the company that could build heat pumps for all the special cases where the usual manufacturers’ products were not enough.
We have continued to develop the industry and are today a pioneer in manufacturing heat pumps for tomorrow’s energy landscape.
